Udon Thani Rajabhat University (UDRU) is a university where international and local knowledge meet to empower the community and the region.

The Campuses

UDRU, the headquarters, is located in Udon Thani City, only 50 kms from Nong Khai and Laos PDR, and one hour from Bangkok by plane. It is a modern city where most visitors find it a convenient place to fit in, still seasoned by the local charms. Udon Thani, while representing a glimpse of prehistoric civilizations at the Ban Chiang archaeological site, has physical, economical, and geographical diversity that makes Udon Thani to be within reach of visitors.

Udon Thani Rajabhat University’s main campus located in Udon Thani province, an important regional hub that connects northeastern Thailand with the rest of the country as well as Nong Khai province, which is neighboring Mekong River and Laos in 60 kilometers.

The City Campus

The city campus, which is the main campus (94.04 acres) conveniently located in the Udon Thani city and headquarters to the main administrative offices, centers, Faculty of Education, Faculty of Management, and Graduate Programs.



Sam Phrao Campus

Sam Phrao campus is a newly built tranquil wide open outskirts of Udon Thani city (826.32 acres) about 10 kilometers from the city. The campus is a home to the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Faculty of Technology, Faculty of Science, and Faculty of Nursing.



Bueng Kan Campus

Bueng Kan campus (80.66 acres) is in Bueng Kan province about 200 kilometers north-east of the main campus. The campus extends opportunities to meet people’s reach-out by offering degree programs in humanities and social sciences>

Academic

UDRU offers diploma (Teaching Profession and Thai for Foreigners), undergraduate, and graduate programs. We conduct almost 80 undergraduate degree programs under six faculties: Faculty of Education, Faculty of Management Science, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Faculty of Technology, Faculty of Science, and Faculty of Nursing. We offer more than 15 graduate programs providing Master of Business Administration (M.BA.), Master of Arts (M.A.), Master of Science (M.Sc./M.S.), Master of Education (M.Ed.) Master of Public Administration (M.P.A.), Master of Public Health (M.PH.), Master of Fine and Applied Arts (M.F.A. (Isan Arts)) and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.)

International Collaboration

UDRU has been working continuously to internationalize itself and welcoming international students, volunteers, projects, and formal visits every year. We have successfully and increasingly collaborated with universities, institutes, enterprises, companies, organizations and people from China, Japan, Korea, Viet Nam, United Kingdom, United States, Australia and others. UDRU hosts an international conference and a training program almost every year in which collaborative support from its overseas partners willingly and effectively arrives.
